8.    Strategies to Address Bay Area Housing Crisis- Rick Jacobus, Principal, Street Level Urban Advisors

Mr. Rick Jacobus is a national expert in inclusionary housing and affordable homeownership. As Principal of Street Level Urban Advisors, Mr. Jacobus helps cities, nonprofits and philanthropy craft strategies that ensure everyone benefits from growth. Mr. Jacobus was invited to present to the BARC Governing Board on Bay Area housing challenges and discuss the roles regional agencies can play in addressing these challenges.

9.    New Bay Conservation and Development Commission (BCDC) Policy Directions Regarding Rising Sea Level –Zack Wasserman, Chair, BCDC

 

BCDC recently completed a series of four workshop involving Commissioners and stakeholders to explore the role of the agency in the face of rising sea levels and the hazards resulting from a changing climate. This presentation will outline the direction provided by the Commission resulting from the workshop series.

The public is encouraged to comment on agenda items by completing a request-to-speak card and giving it to BARC staff or the chairperson.

Although a quorum of the Governing Board may be in attendance at this meeting, the Governing Board may take action only on those matters delegated to it.  The Governing Board may not take any action as the Bay Area Regional Collaborative Governing Board unless this meeting has been previously noticed as a Bay Area Regional Collaborative Governing Board meeting.
